As a recent arrival in the Phoenix metro, I am adjusting to life in the desert. While there are constant reminders of our arid environment, there are also too many bright green lawns and golf courses. It is a weird place, but I like it.

I am a Uruguayan who grew up in Argentina, picked up German citizenship along the way, came to the US for college and then wound up marrying a Texan. I have a BA in Anthropology and have finally found my dream job in museum education following a very long search. After living in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Oklahoma, we have settled in Arizona and hope to be here for a while since we like it here and are enjoying our work. Even my cat is very fond of this place.
