Recent Bowling Scores

I keep making improvements in my bowling, and my average is now at 112! While this is not a particularly high average, it’s great for me. And because of this week’s scores, my average should go up a little more. After all, yesterday I had a game that was way over average, one just a few points under average, and one that was exactly at 112. We were a little worried when we saw that our opposing team’s name was the “Joker Ho’s,” thinking that it would be a bunch of really loud, rowdy guys. Instead, it turned out that they were 2 middle-aged married couples that were very friendly and a pleasure to bowl with. Go figure.

While my bowling has been improving over the last few weeks, I still don’t know what I’m doing right, and I’m not sure how to improve what I’m not doing so well. Because of that, when I get a strike or a spare it’s very hard for me to reproduce it in the next frame. I’m sure that will come later, but for now I’m enjoying the weekly bowling, and even though Tim isn’t bowling anymore, I’m glad he comes to watch all our games and to provide moral support. And drink beer.
